About Us

Los Angeles–based designer and creative director Dora Lim began her infatuation with fashion at a young age while growing up in Brazil. With her parents running a garment manufacturing business, Dora spent countless afternoons sneaking into the production floor, mesmerized by the rhythm of sewing machines and the art of clothing construction. It was in those moments that her passion for craftsmanship was born.

Determined to master both the creative and technical sides of fashion, Dora earned her degree in Fashion Design and Product Development from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. After graduation, she joined the family business—until, in the spring of 2010, she launched GREYLIN: a contemporary womenswear brand that reflects her design sensibilities and global upbringing.

Rooted in Los Angeles, GREYLIN embodies the effortless elegance and quiet strength of the modern woman. From tailored staples to flowing silhouettes, each collection is thoughtfully designed to transition from work to weekend, city to coast—with a sense of refined simplicity.
